Sheet Happens is a publishing company started by Tim and Luke to make music books that might not ever see the light of day. It seems like this is a very particular market and bands that don't find themselves in the mainstream might never be considered by the bigger publishing companies. We think by offering transcriptions it can be used as a learning tool and help people understand the music on another level. Since we've toured with a lot of bands that we think would be great candidates for tab books, we are going through our contacts and getting in touch with people to expand our catalog and also bring you, the axe wielder some more sweet riffs!

We have our shipping set up with Canada Post. If you're in Canada expect your book in a week to 10 business days. If you're in the USA, you're looking at 10 business days and internationally it's up to 6 weeks. It's takes about a week at the most from when you order to us having your order in the mail. We are working on finding ways to make this faster especially for international customers but we want to do it in a cost effective way. The last thing you want is an additional $40 shipping charge just to get the order sooner. Hopefully, we'll have some shipping options soon, so the keen shredders can get their books right away

Yes. Luke does more of the shipping but collectively we have shipped over 1000 books. It's tedious and time consuming, but it's also satisfying and interesting to see where in the world these books are going.

Right now we have distribution in Canada at Long and McQuade's and Steve's Music stores. We are trying to get the books to all music stores across the country as well as get them into Guitar Centers and other music stores in the US and internationally. We are open to making transcriptions for anyone. If you're interested in us making you a book, or transcribing a song send us a message and we'll send you back a quote.

We are in the process of recruiting some bands so expect some new books in the new year. As well, we are planning to have the book for the new album done and released along side the record.

We do all the tabbing in Guitar Pro. We recently got a copy for Guitar Pro 6 and it's definitely taken things to the next level. There's a lot of really good transcription software out there, but I've found Guitar Pro to be the best for guitar related music. Check out the site for more details. Guitar Pro For you free software nerds, I've also used Tuxguitar in the past and think it's a good alternative but is a little glitchy! Tuxguitar
